Creditability as Investment Logic — Why aunomo Packages Build on Each Other

The Audit is free, The Verdict counts 100 % toward The Blueprint, The Product Focus toward The Product. How the creditability logic works — and why it structurally lowers investment risk.

The most frequent question in initial conversations: "What happens if, after The Verdict, I decide I do not need The Blueprint after all?" The answer: you keep the Verdict result and walk away. Not a cent lost. If you later do book The Blueprint, the Verdict counts toward it 100 %.

This creditability logic is not marketing cosmetics. It is the structural solution to a concrete problem solopreneurs and small teams face during consulting engagement: investment uncertainty. This piece explains how the logic works in detail, where it applies, and why it structurally lowers the risk of every single booking.

The base rule

Whoever books an aunomo package and later books a larger package pays only the difference. Concrete examples:

First bookingFollow-upEffective follow-up costThe Audit (0 €)The Verdict — Business (1,490 €)1,490 €The Verdict — Business (1,490 €)The Blueprint — Business (12,500 €)11,010 € (instead of 12,500)The Product Focus (2,990 €)The Product (6,500 €)3,510 € (instead of 6,500)The Verdict — Tech (1,490 €)The Blueprint — Tech (12,500 €)11,010 €The Verdict — Hybrid (2,490 €)The Blueprint (12,500 €)10,010 €

No penalty for going step by step. No hidden "activation fee" on the follow-up. The difference is exactly what it says.

Why this is investment logic, not discount logic

Discounts are price-driven — they say: "Book more now, pay proportionally less." Creditability is risk-driven — it says: "Invest small first, test the method against your concrete business, then decide with data."

Three consequences:

First: The Audit is a real entry point, not a disguised sales pitch. Thirty minutes, free, with the output "which package fits — if any". In about a third of audits, the recommendation is: do not book a package, because the concrete need is not covered by aunomo. That recommendation costs nothing and is part of the Audit promise.

Second: The Verdict is the diagnosis stage with standalone value. Anyone who stops after The Verdict holds a complete situation assessment — written, owned, with no further obligation. The Verdict is not "the first step of a larger consulting mandate". It is a finished product.

Third: every tranche is a decision with data. Before the Audit you know little — so it costs nothing. After the Verdict you know where you stand strategically — and can decide whether The Blueprint pays off. After The Blueprint you know what the 12-month plan looks like — and can decide whether aunomo.tech should handle the build or another vendor.

The routes through the package matrix

Three typical routes:

Route 1: Audit → Verdict → Stop. You book The Audit (free), receive a recommendation for The Verdict. You book The Verdict (1,490–2,490 €), receive the diagnosis. You use the result yourself — with your own staff, another consultant, or as a discussion basis with your tax advisor/lawyer. Total cost: 1,490–2,490 €.

Route 2: Verdict → Blueprint → Stop. After the Verdict, you decide you want the full 12-month roadmap. You book The Blueprint (12,500 €), pay the difference (11,010 € after a Business Verdict). Output: complete company analysis, processes, structure, 12-month roadmap. Total cost: 12,500 €.

Route 3: Product Focus → Product → Blueprint → Build. For founders with a product idea: first The Product Focus (2,990 €) for validation (market, price, competition in five days). Then The Product (3,510 € difference = 6,500 € regular) for the full product strategy. Then possibly The Blueprint and transition to aunomo.tech for the build. Each stage builds on the data of the previous one.

A fourth route is also possible: Audit directly to The Product Focus — if you already have a product idea and only need market validation, you can skip the Verdict. The Audit is the decision point.

What happens with ownership?

At every stage: full IP transfer. Whatever is produced in The Verdict is fully owned by the client after seven days. Whatever is produced in The Blueprint is fully owned by the client after fourteen days. Code, data schemas, architecture recommendations, strategy documents, process descriptions.

This too is not a marketing statement. It is a contractually anchored standard, because it is a direct consequence of the creditability logic: if you stop after The Verdict, you must be able to use the result onwards — otherwise creditability would be an empty promise.

Compared with classical consulting models

Classical management consultancies typically operate on a daily-rate model. Advantage: high flexibility. Disadvantage: no price certainty for the client. After three months of consulting, the invoice can be 80,000 € instead of the expected 50,000 €, with no way to hold them to it.

aunomo takes a different approach: fixed price per package, defined duration, defined output. What creditability adds: it prevents small packages from becoming "sunk cost". Anyone who starts with The Verdict and realises more depth is needed does not pay the larger package on top — they pay only the difference.

This is mathematically identical to booking the larger package directly, but psychologically very different: the initial decision is small, the second decision is made with data produced in the first stage.

When creditability does not apply

Three cases:

The Audit is not creditable. It is free, so there is no "invested amount" to credit. It is the door, not the step.

The Spark (aunomo.tech, 2,490 €) is not creditable. Spark is a standalone tool for a clearly defined problem, not a step in a product pipeline. Anyone wanting a full build after Spark starts with The Signal or The Prototype as a new investment.

The Alliance (strategic partnership on request) is not creditable. It is a retainer model that follows a completed engagement.

All other packages are creditable — each toward the next stage in its line.

What you can do now

If you are still unsure whether aunomo fits your business: The Audit is the place for it. Thirty minutes, free, with a clear recommendation at the end — even if the recommendation is "book nothing, because aunomo does not cover the need". The Audit has no hidden sales logic, because it does not need one. The next stages sell themselves, when each previous stage has delivered its value.

Frequently Asked Questions

If I book The Verdict — Business and then want The Blueprint — Tech instead of Business, is it credited? No. Creditability applies within a line (Business or Tech). Switching lines means starting at the new package price. Solution: book The Verdict — Hybrid (2,490 €) upfront, which covers both perspectives and is creditable against either Blueprint.

Is there a time limit for crediting? Standard is six months from completion of the smaller package. Within those six months, crediting can be redeemed at any time. Longer terms available on request.

What happens if I book The Verdict twice in a row (e.g., a second strategy diagnosis after eighteen months)? The second Verdict is a standalone, new engagement — no crediting against the first. Both engagements are, however, each creditable against the appropriate Blueprint.

Are adjustments to the already-delivered Verdict output charged additionally when I book The Blueprint? No. The Verdict is finished output. If additional depth is desired during the Blueprint, it is implemented within the Blueprint scope — part of what the higher price stands for.

Can aunomo.consulting + aunomo.tech packages also be combined? Yes. The typical route is Blueprint (consulting) → The Build (tech). The Blueprint amount is credited against the Build. Concrete modalities clarified before contract signature.

Are the creditability rules contractually anchored? Yes. They are part of the written scope document that initiates every package — binding for both sides.
